Dear Sandy B:
I get really pissed off almost daily, each time I read something negative that the republicans and their cronies, like Rush Limbaugh and Beck, have to say about President Obama. They sound like they are happy that things like the oil spill, lost of jobs, the wars and incidents like the attempted bombing at Times Square have taken place under Obama’s watch so that he can look bad. I know those folks would never speak to the positive effects of the Stimulus Plan and the Health Plan. It concerns me that the White House doesn’t speak out more about the many successes that have taken place under Obama’s administration thus far. What do these folks expect from Obama in just over a year?
Winston
Orlando
Dear Winston:
Don’t get upset, my friend. If the Brother doesn’t get a lot of mess to get straight, he can’t ever achieve greatness. See, they go “hand in hand”. I’m not happy for the country that all this mess is goin’ down under Obama, but I’m convinced that what I consider the “halo over his head” that helped him get to his current white crib, will be the same halo that protects and will help the brother be successful. Hey, Obama can’t loose this one. When he straightens out all the mess, he will be hailed as great. I can’t think of it goin’ any other way without getting’ all religious on you.
Dear Sandy B:
My husband and I are newly weds and we have always had a great relationship. Recently we bought a house and I had planned to buy some new furniture for the living room. I was shocked when my husband insisted that we take his mother’s living room furniture since she was down sizing and didn’t want to just give it away. We have had the worst arguments over this furniture because it is not my taste. I don’t want to start this marriage with a rift between my husband and his mother over some furniture. What do you suggest?
Cynthia
Winter Park
Dear Cynthia:
You can win this one if you are creative. Check out some local upholstery shops, and find you some fabric that is all about you. Get you a good upholsterer and have that couch covered with some fabulous pillows with drapes and “keepa steppin”.

Dear Sandy B:
I have been dating this guy for about eight months. Things have been going great, as he is really sweet, kind and very thoughtful. He’s fun to be with, however, lately I have been noticing things that have made me wonder if he might be on the "down low", or something.

Dear Sandy B: I moved to Orlando almost 12 years ago, because things had gotten so bad in Philadelphia. Gangs were terrorizing everyone; it didn’t matter if you were old, young, male or female.
