City seeking proposals for redevelopment of six acres at Parramore Avenue and Conley Street

November 5, 2015 – ORLANDO, FL – Today, the City of Orlando and its Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) begin inviting proposals for the redevelopment of three City-owned properties located in the Parramore neighborhood into a residential development. The three properties total approximately six acres and are located across from Z.L. Riley Park on South Parramore Avenue.

The vision for this development is a variety of residential building types including apartments and townhome-style units that will offer affordable housing, permanent supportive housing, market rate housing and community building amenities such as open space and gathering areas for residents.

Providing additional housing options for residents supports the recommendations of the Parramore Comprehensive Neighborhood Plan and will help to further revitalize the Parramore neighborhood.

The City and CRA are seeking a highly experienced development team to design, finance, build and manage the new residential development. Development teams interested in this opportunity are invited to attend a voluntary pre-submission conference on Wednesday, November 11, 2015, at 11:00 am at City Hall (400 S. Orange Ave., 6th floor).

Proposals are due Friday, December 4, 2015.
