April Carr, mother of the student threatened by teacher. She admits her child was acting up, but insists he did nothing to deserve being threatened with a bullet in the head.

*“I’ll bet before you’re 21, someone will shoot you in the head…and it might be me that will do it.” A white male teacher is seen and heard on camera saying this to one of his students. We don’t actually see the student he is aiming this threat at on camera, but the parent of the student said to be the target has wasted no time speaking out, and after filing a police report, the teacher has been placed on administrative leave.

After learning about what happened to her son, April Carr, posted the video of the teacher’s racist rant in Facebook. Racist, she claims, because before the teacher got to the threat, he used that infamous “You people” phrase.

While TV reports mention that Carr admits her son was acting up, print reports reveal her saying her son did nothing disrespectful.

The altercation is said to have started because some of the children in class was laughing as Hagen wrote an equation on the board. Allegedly, hearing this, he turned around and walked towards Carr’s son and said…

“Don’t smile at me, man, OK? That’s how people like you get shot,” he tells the student, and continues, “I got a bet. I bet by the time you’re 21, somebody’s gonna put a bullet right through your head. And it might be me — the one that does it.”
